Our Story

Good things take time. We took that literally.

Slowrise started the way all good things do around here: with a sourdough starter, a kitchen that smelled incredible, and way too many snacks to keep to ourselves.

We're based in Wenatchee, in the heart of North Central Washington's Columbia River Valley. Our snacks are fermented low and slow, baked in small batches, and made with ingredients we actually want to eat. No rush. No shortcuts.

You'll find us at local shops, taprooms, and farmers markets across the valley. We believe great snacks should come from real places and real people, not a factory floor.

Crispy, tangy sourdough crackers with rosemary from the garden and flaky Jacobsen sea salt. Perfect alongside a sharp cheddar or straight out of the bag.

Our Process

Four steps. No shortcuts.

Feed the Starter

It all begins with our house sourdough culture. She's been alive and kicking for years, fed daily with stone-ground flour and clean water.

Mix & Rest

We mix small batches by hand and let the dough ferment naturally. No commercial yeast, no dough conditioners. Just time doing its thing.

Shape & Bake

Each piece is shaped, scored, and baked until golden. We watch every batch and pull them when they're exactly right.

Pack & Share

Cooled, packed by hand, and delivered to our neighbors. From our kitchen to the shelves of local spots you already love.
